I am a health economist at Brown University, where I am an Assistant Professor of Health Services, Policy, and Practice in the School of Public Health. I study health care markets using quasi-experimental methods and administrative data. My current work focuses on Medicare, prior authorization, and the use of AI in health care. My research has been published in leading economics and health policy journals, including the Journal of Health Economics, Health Affairs, and Health Services Research. I received my PhD in health economics and policy from Johns Hopkins University.
